The main thing he provides is grounding mcdavids defense. Which is super important. In a perfect world both would be amazing, but 70-85 point defensemen don’t grow on trees.

He has only gotten 70 points once. I doubt he will do it again. Also, wingers for fast generational players like McDavid don’t grow on trees. You have to take advantage of keeping those guys if you want to win. Puljujarvi 2-way grindy power forward game is way more important in my opinion. We should never trade him.
