Too much in that trade. And youve gone from a forward deep club to a weak one: Allison on 1st line? Can lindblom be a 2nd liner? Frost on 3rd line is fine, but NAK and Laczyzinski on 4th line is weak. To be fair, if the team is going to carry 7 mil in cap space, then I'd deal with seattle to take hagg or NAK and keep voracek, who is a safe bet to continue his 65+ pts a season thru his contract.

PHI is all about Hart, and Kopi isn;t a bad shout, but I wouldn;t want to part with tons for a 2.8mil UFA to be backup. What about just Jones for Sanheim and 1st and 2nd or Jones for TK and a 1st?

Overall PHI doesn;t need a makeover, they finished with a winning record and gave up the most goals. Youth regression in Hart, Myers, Sanheim (and Patrick, Lindblom, etc...) was the problem, I'm not sure your lineup needs such a radical change.

I would take either of those two trades for Jones.

I did think about keeping Jake but it just seems like this club is looking to move on from him. It would be a young group still and good balance of vet vs youth. I do think its a toss up between Seattle taking him or JVR but I think JVR brings a different tone of leadership.

Why would the Flyers let Seattle take Voracek? He's one of their best players

He is still good but the contract is the reason we kinda want to get rid of him.
