Bridging Kaprizov shouldn't be an option. He has no arb rights this year and can't be offer sheeted. If we bridged him, he'd gain those rights and could be offersheeted once his bridge is up and may just want to walk in free agency the following year (if it's a 2 year deal). In case you don't know, his agent is the same as Bobrovsky and Panarin so you know he's pushing Kaprizov to get a shorter deal for a huge payout in his late 20's. Our best bet to keep him here long-term is to sign him to a 5ish year deal.

Ek will make a lot more than that on a 5 year deal, probably around $5M AAV. Fiala already took a bridge, hell probably be looking to get paid as well.

If Cernak is available for a 3rd, I’ll take 2 of him!

Not even close for Jack Eichel, Kevyn Adams wants equivalent to 4 1st round picks for Eichel, And Cernak isn't available and he is worth far more then a 3rd round pick try a late 1st or early 2nd rounder.

Tampa will be very Cap-strapped and any team that wants to make a move for a guy that isn't part of Tampa's star core will have a lot of leverage. Teams that are cap strapped usually never get back equal value in a cap dump, a lot of times not even close to equal value.

Wow, where have I heard this story before? Oh right last year, and the year before that too. Tampa’s not selling low on a young core player because you want him.

This past year they waited to have Kucherov's surgery so they could put him on IR and get below the cap ceiling. Eventually they will need to dump cap because the cap is not gonna rise that much in the next couple years.

You know Seattle is entering the league right? Thats another 81.5M cap space. You wamt Cernak you pay Tampa’s price, there are plwnty of other players to move before him

Cernak’s value is way more then just a third round pick
