A 31 year old, soon-to-be UFA goaltender does not have that kind of value.

I think that it would take more than one year of Kuemper to get William Nylander. Maybe Victor Soderstrom and the Columbus second?

If I was you, I would target a guy like David Savard instead of Cody Ceci. Yes he is older, but he is better, unless you are rebuilding which from the look at this roster it looks like you are trying to become a playoff team.

Kuemper wasn't even good this year (.907) 🤨

Was hurt and played behind a dog crap team, he was .920, .928, and .925 the last 3 seasons. Who knows what the overreacting and panic Leafs will do.

The CBJ 2nd is essentially a first, given that it's 37th overall, not moving it AND Soderstrom. Also not moving Soderstrom given his age and where this team is. I'd do the CBJ pick and prospect not named Hayton/Soderstrom

I think you're underestimating Nylander's value. On the Coyotes, he'd be the closest thing you guys have to an All-Star forward (he's clearly better than Dvorak or Keller).

The pick is 36th overall because you guys don't actually get to select in the 11th slot. I'm not suggesting that trading Soderstrom is a good idea; I'm just saying that if you want Nylander, I can't see it taking less than Kuemper, Soderstrom and the #36. But I agree with you that adding Nylander at a bargain-basement price like the one you show here would, of course, be a bonanza.

Blueger is a key part of the team and would probably take an overpayment to get him, tbh. Sullivan really likes him with Aston-Reese and Tanev, and Blueger played good as a 2nd liner at times this year. Of course I say this, and Hextall will leave him exposed.

Riikola can probably be had for a 6th or 7th. He has been fine when played, but Sullivan has a hate-boner with him for some reason. Someone's gonna get a minor steal with CoughDrop.
