actually I said that wrong. He's really not worth much more than that but a few teams desperate for a player that can potentially be a good middle 6 scoring winger and they will end up giving up more than he's worth. EDM comes to mind when thinking about that

You got Cap space w/ and w/out JD, he's properly compensated (had COVID) and is still RFA and a fifth liner coming back - duh!.

You signed Trent Frederic. Play him at 4 LW. That way you don't have to make the embarrassing trade of Kyle Clifford for Jake DeBrusk. You are right, you don't need DeBrusk to play 4th line. You need him to play 3rd line instead of Chris Wagner, a career 4th liner. Tinordi and Gudbranson on D? You should be looking to upgrade, not downgrade.
