Trading Kuemper allows you to keep Hill. Demers, Hjalmarsson and Goligoski are all UFA so plenty of room for Ristolainen.

Ok, my bad on Parise that makes sense. I just dont see Risto and Kuemper as equals. I also find it hard to pitch to Linus that they will be a 1A 1B tandem. He is a #1 when healthy and someone will pay him to be a #1 if Buffalo doesnt want to.

Linus has never played more than 37 games in a season and is never healthy. Kuemper is expiring and ullmark is the starter. Look at the splits when ullmark plays vs anyone else. It's a desperate need for buffalo

Also, Parise, or anyother good player aren't going to waive to go from good team; situation to a bad one.
