Had to bridge Shesterkin to make the cap work. And how do you sign Fox and Zibanejad next year? I don't think it works

Yea just another Super realustic offer for an overpaid underperforming player. Oh yea with a somewhat concerning neck injury, that he prefers a brand new surgery to fix.
For me.... you can keep him. He isnt going to fix whats wrong in NY. More unmotivated talent.

The bones of the deal are there, but probably need to part with Kakko or Kravstov cuz we would be lucky to get a roll of tape for Howden.

in your scenario you have $27m to sign Zib, Kakko, Kravtsov, and Fox - this shouldn't be too hard.
the problem is year 3 when you have to sign Laf, Miller and Shesterkin.
but it also is probably a reasonable assumption that if the Rangers trade for Eichel, Zibanejad is done in NY.

yet another reason the Rangers should stay away from an Eichel trade...
