garland put up .8ppg on a worse team and has more heart than the entire leafs first line. he'd come at half the cost of marner too. so it's not like you're getting scraps.

Keller is struggling. Middle 6 production for 1st liners money. Their combined points barely beat out Marner's individual points this season. Also how do we even know about Garland's playoff performance ability? Marner showed heart all season, and even in some past playoff series, but **** the bed in this one

Not saying we'd be getting scraps but you don't expect scraps back when you trade a player of Marner's age and calibre

The difference between Keller/Garland and Marner is not a 2nd round pick. It’s very unlikely they deal him as the value they will get back will not be sufficient.

fair point about keller. he is overpaid but so is marner.

marner hasn't shown any heart. hes scared of getting hit. when given a chance to go for a board battle to keep his season alive he opted out.

since joining the avs kadri has more playoff points than any player on the leafs. not becuase he's played more games either, he has a higher ppg rate too. seems exactly what the leafs need given the leafs inability to score in the playoffs.
