Description

Adding a RS D in Hamilton would allow for a top first pairing D capable of playing 24-26mins per night. Brodie and Holl would be a quality shutdown line for the 2nd pairing. I was assuming that Seattle takes Dermott, so we resign Bogosian and Hutton as the 7th d.

The forwards add some heavier players for each line. Crouse and Goodrow can move up or down with Engvall and Mikheyev.

Admittedly, acquiring Byfield as a developing centre is a bit ridiculous, but my point is that we could get a quality younger player on a good contract by signing Hamilton and moving Reilly, especially a player who could develop with Robinson for a year or two.

Finaly, we add a few picks in the process of moving Kerfoot and Reilly. Reilly could be moved for a 1st and a young player. Maybe to Chicago for Dach and a first?
