Why would SEA waste a pick on Kase? I mean as a Bruins fans I'd be thrilled, but I don't see it happening.

If he's healthy, he is easily a solid middle-six player. The risk could be worth it. Similar to the Bruins when they moved Backes, unfortunately it didn't work out. What are the other options Seattle have? Nothing really interesting except Clifton maybe.

I think after an injury-riddled season like the one he just had, he just needs a fresh start. I think he could bounce-back with seattle

That's fine, but he has a QO of $2.6 million. I don't see Boston extending him a QO at that price and that would make Kase a UFA. Seattle could still sign Kase once he's a UFA and select a different player from Boston.

But he's not healthy and hasn't been for a few years now. In the last 3 years he's played a total of 88 games while playing at roughly a 40pt pace. I'd point to my point above as well that he has a $2.6 million QO. $2.6 million on a cup contender can be better used. As for other players that would be of interest, I expect Ritchie to be exposed and a guy they look to grab. Ritchie carries a $2 million QO doesn't have injury concerns, can also give you some scoring, throw hits and drop the gloves if needed. Even to re-sign Ritchie shouldn't break the bank.

good reasoning. I don't really like the idea of choosing Dobby for the expansion draft. He kinda old and there is better options

good reasoning. I don't really like the idea of choosing Dobby for the expansion draft. He kinda old and there is better options

I mean there aren't many better options from Dallas

Still it doesn’t make sense one way or another as he’s the blues franchise player losing him for nothing would be on par with trading Crosby for a rental

Which picks do you find questionable?

Mostly just Tarasenko and Kuznetsov. Also Johansen. But it see where you're coming from.
