Not sure LTIR for Okposo works. He's expected to be 100% healthy. Hard to see McCabe back too. Ullmark will probably cost more too.

I'm thinking Ullmark will find the injury history limits his options and pay. I fully agree he could get more but I'm optimistic.
Cap space here for Okposo to be buried in the Minors if he is healthy but I'm hoping for retirement.
McCabe is wishful thinking lol

Actually I think McCabe will find his market is limited by his injury. He probably won’t get the offers he thinks he will, so it might be best for him to come back and have a great season next to Ristolainen like they were having before he got hurt this past season. However, if the Sabres cannot bring him back I wouldn’t be surprised to see Ristolainen traded. If he doesn’t have a defensively responsible partner like McCabe Ristolainen just isn’t the same player.

I hope Risto goes no matter what. He's such a negative impact every time he steps on the ice.

I can't see Arizona giving up their best Dman, their best forward and 1st rounder for one Eichel.
You have to know Reinhart isn't resigning with the Sabres long term.

As he's an expansion-exempt starter, Merzlikins isn't being traded unless we get something really special back. Risto... suffice to say he doesn't qualify. At all.

Buffalo wouldn't for OEL though in my opinion

Well it's only a 4 year deal... ends when he is 29... so I didn't make it long term

Seven years of Sabres is enough for any good player with leverage. Either when Reinhart is traded this year, or he is UFA in summer 2022, I'm sure Reinhart will be quoting Martin Luther King, "Free at last, Lord we free at last."
