    SJ accepts.

Another big reason for why a Dobby to SJ move makes too much sense is that Evgeni Nabakov -- now the goaltending coach for SJ the past few seasons -- is Khudobin's very good friend and mentor.

Seems pretty fair I guess, although I don't think DAL has to pay to move Dobby.

It's not really much of a pay tbh. It's just a downgrade from a 3rd to a 4th round pick

It's a pay nonetheless. Think Dobby for a 6th or something is fair.

    I’d rather go Harley-Sekera instead of Merrill-Demers.

Harley is unproven so idk about him (good prospect tho) but Merrill has been elite defensively the past 2 years and demers adds good grit to that blue line so I'd personally go with Merrill-Demers, have Sekera as your 7th defenseman, and have Harley start the year in the AHL

Where and why did the value of Dobby has fallen so hard?

He is still a pretty damn solid backup goaltender.

It's not really the player because he is still a solid goalie it's more so the contract. He's 35 rn and his contract has 2 years left at the beginning of next season and he's making about 3.5 million a season and he will be making that as a 37 year old which is not good so that's why I think they might have to pay a little to get the contract off

Looks good. Not paying to get rid of a quality goalie on a reasonable contract tho. Somebody will give positive value for him even in a flooded goalie market

I see a TON of Dobby for Donato trades on here. I’d rather have a pick tho tbh. And if SJ doesn’t want Donato they don’t have to give him a QO

    1. Unpopular opinion: Oleksiak doesn't deserve that big of a pay raise

    2. Demers is absolutely not worth $1.1m and probably doesn't want to play for Dallas again anyway.

It’s not unpopular on my end. Hi value is over estimated because he played most of the year with Miro and looked good doing that. On the other hand, Miro’s production suffered from that.

I say, let him go and try to fetch Montour.
