Its not unrealistic. No one said He needs to leave to play for another NHL team. He is on record saying he would like to finish his career playin the KHL for Dynamo Moscow.

Just an FYI Rask has said he won’t play for a team other than Boston. With some guys that might be BS, but he seems like the type that cares more about not uprooting his family than hockey. Taht and boston will likely offer more, and the tax situation is better.

Yes, he has said he wants to play KHL, but its been very clear he wants to finish his NHL career with Backstrom, so he wont leave for at least 4 years. Plus hes going for the goal record

I would agree I don't think he will be leaving this summer. I would say he has another 2-3 years in the NHL for sure but just wanted to point out it was not unrealistic
