How about Brock Boeser instead of the 1st?

Sbisa is a 1st round pick and Benning is a 6th round pick. Do you mean why would Jim Benning want to trade for Matt Benning?

You are right that Subban trade is awful the Canucks should get more for Markstrom than Malcolm and a 2nd

no why would Oilers do that trade? Oilers get shafted. A future stud in Benning for A 5/6 defenseman?

Sbisa is really underrated, he is physical, tough, hard to play against and could put up points. He is a 4 right now and getting better, I'm sure you don't watch a lot of his games.
Benning is a having a good 1st year but it's his 1st year it's a little early to say that he will be a stud a lot players have good 1st years then amount to nothing more than a bottom player.
Benning would be taking a chance that Benning would continue to progress and turn into at least a 4.

If its better then the Preds can have the Canucks 1st instead of their 2nd. Hutton is a top 4 right now and progressing nicely he could be a top 3 offensive Dman on a Preds team by next year plus he doesn't have to be protected for the expansion as he is exempt. Edler is a steady top 2 Dman not nearly as offensive as PK but he is better defensively than PK so it's a win win for the Preds.

I hear ya, it's understandable. You drive a hard bargain but Bo would like to play with his cousin so it's worth the 1st to bring that family magic to Vancity

Interesting familial team, could be fun or a complete disaster with all these siblings on one team... No Benn's?

I like the Minny trade but there's no way they would take that. Same with the Konecny deal, plus Hansen and Baertschi are important pieces. The Foligno deal with CBJ is terrible. Eriksson is already better than him let alone adding Stetcher. Why would you trade Sbisa, a decent asset, for some guy I've never heard of. Throw him in on another deal and get a better player. Keep Dorsett. Virtanen needs a trade but Anaheim wouldn't take that. The only deal that's anywhere close to fair is the Nashville one, but the Nucks don't need Subban, and the Preds would never trade him, even for that price.

All in all, I didn't come here to hate, but I think there's just a little too much here.
