This is an interesting idea. I assume you have the Sabres taking Power at 1. This would give them flexibility to trade Eichel for the best offer and not need to get a center in return for him.

I’ll be honest, this trade makes way more sense to me from a kings standpoint than an Eichel trade. I just don’t see why they’d want him right now. They’re not there.

Yes I believe if they do this then they take Power.

I think they want to, and there was rumors that he requested a trade.
