Description
These are minor changes but do they really need to make major ones?
I don't see the Habs losing Tuna for nothing but to trade a UFA is almost impossible. Maybe it becomes a sign and trade situation.
The Cap would change a bit with the Allen and Chairot deal but not enough to make a big difference. The Habs could sign Bernier for 1 year to give Primeau more time.

why on earth with the habs bring back Gustafsson? probably wont have taxi squads so just dead cap sitting in the ahl. We jsut signed Norlinder to his ELC Romanov will be in hopefully next game and we shouldnt see Gustaffson in a habs jersey again.

in theory yes, he would be worth a late round pick on a contending team who wants to add speed and defensive ability to their bottom 6, however most of those teams dont have the capspace for a 3.4m player on their 4th line. and His value to a team that has lots of cap space and is rebuilding is a lot less and i do think it would take a sweatener in that case.

Funny, because every MTL fan seems to want to send him to OTT... Capfriendlys favourite cup dumping zone

If you think hes worth a late pick, find another team who thinks its good value

His play might be worth a late round pick but his contract would require you to pay a 2nd+ to get rid of. 2 years and just under 7m is a massive overpayment for a fourth line player whos also been scratched this year.

He is a good player that could help a younger core. The main reason he goes to Ottawa in most posts; News Flash; he's an Ottawa Native.
Similar to the Matthew Peca (Petawawa native) trade that the Sens traded away a 7th round pick and undrafted Aaron Luchuk for.
Either way the value is there but for perhaps another team.
Not like Grigorenko or Gustaffson makes or breaks the team so don't sign them and keep Byron, easy fix.

This was posted before the Norlinder signing.
Can just as easy not resign him. As mentioned in the team explanation, if they lose Chiarot instead of Allen they will need a LD at some point and he's better that Merrill.
