Cernak's very underrated as a player - I think he's worth more than that especially to TBL for his ridiculously low cap.

This is your dream offseason though? Not getting any of Eichel, Hamilton, Seth Jones, Johnny Hockey, Marner, Ellis, Reinhart etc etc, make this list? Dream bigger my friend.

Sadly we don't have cap for any of them. When I was thinking about this yesterday I thought of Hamilton but when making this I completely forgot about him I would target him and I DONT WANT JONES

So um no. Blues won't take a cap dump Ghost for Dunn. Especially when we are already in a cap crunch.

We actually will have the cap for them, not all of them, but for 1 or 2 of them. Fletch already has said he's gonna need to get creative, but I would not surprised if all of Ghost, Jake, and JVR are not on the team next year. Thats almost 20m in space alone. and for 3 replaceable players. Add in the fact that guys like Hart and Sanheim who regressed won't be getting the raises we anticipated, we could definitely add Hamilton+ or Hamilton/Jones+ or Eichel or Gaudreau/Ellis, etc etc. Believe me, there are plenty of ways that acquiring one or two of these players more than fits under the cap.

What's with the hatred for Jones? When he's on he's a top 15 dman in the game.

he's not a top 15 defenseman thats the problem. He's has been closer to a bottom 15 defenseman the past 2 years than a top 15. He's a cone defensively and then his offensive game disappeared when Werenski got injured

I'm just curious, you can't say that if you have watched him. Can you please show me any type of evidence (stat wise, video wise, experts opinions) on him being a "cone" or a bottom 15 defensemen? Genuinely curious why you would say that. Prior to this year, he showed up on the Norris ballot 4 straight years. Doesn't that tell you something?
