Okay with everything except 2023 1st. I’d add a prospect like Reilly Walsh and then u have a deal

Yeah like any Non-Playoff team is taking on a grossly overpaid Mitch Marner, And FYI Bernier isn't signing no 1 x $2,000,000 deal he'll get 2-3 years @ $3,500,000 from Detroit.

Why would the Leafs get rid of Marner? Especially when they're in win-now mode? That's the kind of move you make when you're rebuilding.
Also I disagree with you choosing not to resign Spezza, Bogosian, and especially Hyman.

I meant to resign Spezza but forgot honestly, Bogosian is resigned. Someone is going to overpay Hyman this offseason imo. The Leafs will continue to fail when they have half their cap tied up into 4 forwards, there is no depth scoring on the current make up of the team.

I think that is fair, when putting it together it seemed a little steep but figured why not

Man, if we were one Mitch Marner away from contention, would make a lot more sense.
But considering where we are in our growth cycle, and the young forwards we have, I think we hold off.

The Leafs had depth scoring, especially in the playoffs. The 3 highest paid forwards on the Leafs did pretty much nothing.

lol no they didn't, Nylander had 5 goals. He was great. Muzzin was the Leafs third leading goal scorer with 2. No one else had multiple goals. The Leafs relied too much on old, gritty players in the bottom 6 and it backfired. Need some youth and goal scoring to help out there. Mathews will be fine without Marner.
