Yikes. Bordeleau on his own would be a hard sell for Reinhart, nevermind adding 7th overall. You will get something good for him, but not that good and probably not from the sharks.

As high as I am on Bord, he hasn't played a single game yet.

I don't think Eichel gets Turcotte and Kaliyev and two (likely high) 1st round picks.

He was the best freshman in the NCAA. Other players who recently won that award include Newhook, Farabee,Keller and Kyle Connor. It seems very likely that Bordeleau has atleast the potential to be a 2nd/3rd line NHLer, and who knows he may be able to go further. Reinhart is probably his ceiling, so maybe thats a fair deal there, but having a guy like that on an ELC in 2022-2025 is very very valuable.

What about Sam for Timo???
Timo needs a change of scenery and Sam wants out of Buffalo. Both teams get talented top 6 player tho is young,

That would be fair but I thought with SJ contracts they wanted to take some kicks at the playoffs for the next couple years - they got like over 50+ mil tied up unmovable for at least 4 years - so add a piece not move two fairly equal players for one another.

Except Sam would fit better with us and I feel Meir fits better with Eichel it’s one of those really good trades where both players need a change and both teams need the other teams player.
