Probably better to buy out Virtanen than Holtby. Which means Washington should get something other than him. Schmidt probably better than Dillon but we’d need better compensation for Eller

Mtl decline, it’s like saying Weber vs Pettersson straight up, and it’s still more realistic than your MTL-VAN trade

I know . I am trying to get ideas for trades. I like Eller but his cost for a fourth line player is something we are trying to get away from. Schmidt is better than BD for sure . Good chance nothing like this ever happens but just getting a feel for things

Keep two years of Drouin I don't mind.

Don't blame you . Looks kind of foolish though when you have a 5.5 mil healthy scratch and then the guy walks away from the team.

The wild won't/ aren't going to do this deal under any circumstances

1) Parise will never waive for any Canadian team
2) wild aren't going to take on the absolute joke of contract in Tyler Myers, & Michael F

3) if you are going to make a proposal, make one that is realistic

4) the wild are going to hang up, & say no. Not even a chance

Schmidt is usually better than Dillon at offense, while Dillon is usually a tougher checker. This year Dillon also outscored Schmidt.

If you're looking to cut cap from your bottom six, and you're defining Lars Eller as a bottom-six forward just because that's where you pencilled him in above, then it looks like Bo Horvat is an even more overpaid bottom-six forward. Might be able to talk WSH into a one-for-one. I don't know. Worth asking.

sure officially - but he is a $5m scratch that does nothing and no where near you claimed 60 points for Montreal.....

Cap dump trade this summer 100% - Prepare yourself for a lopsided trade not in Montreals favour

I can’t see Bergevin trading Drouin for nothing or something bad. Drouin isn’t a superstar, we know that, but he is still a 2nd line winger. Which we need for next year, so my guess he will start with Suzuki and Caufield
