So, I decided to rebuild this team. They aren't what they used to be in the early 2010's, but it's time to rebuild them to their former glory, and these are some ideas and changes I would make. The idea is to have a younger core with a few older players in Yandle, Doughty, and Quick to help groom the younger players. I also tried to make the trades as fair a possible, but I might have pushed my luck with a few things. Through trades, RFA, UFA, and reserve signings, this is a new team, but let me know if tis for the better, or if its worst. Also, side note, I know I may have underpaid Kotkaniemi, but I'd pay him more if need be, the idea is that he'd be a good piece.
Main core: Doughty, Laine, Dubois, Kotkaniemi, Sadd, Yandle, and Morrisey.
Seattle Pick: Olli Matta is a decent player, but he's nothing special, and I don't see him in LA's Future.
Panthers Trade: Brown is a solid player, but he's getting older, and the Defence needs more work. Yandle is also a solid Defencemen to play with Doughty, but I feel as though Brown is work more, hence the 4th round pick.
Winnipeg Trade:Kopitar is probably one of the better Centermen in NHL History, and he's still productive, however, it's better to get some Value for him. I chose Dubois, a younger player, whose definatly good, but not as good, so, along with Morrissey, and the two first, I think it matches the value, but I may have gotten greedy, so let me know.
Columbus Trade: Yeah, Iafallo is good, but Laine is better. So, with him and a first round pick, I think its decently fair, but maybe more might be needed.
New York Trade:I feel as through these two prospects would be good compensation for Lundviskt, but I'm not sure if New York would be willing to part ways with him.
Vegas Trade: Wanted to get rid of Roy, so I traded him for a sixth. I think that's his worth.
Koptitar doesn't waive his NMC for Winnipeg.....I mean c'mon. Iafello as a UFA has no trade value so the CBJ decline that trade. Rangers certainly aren't trading Lunkvuist for that little.

You forget that Iafallo recently signed a four-year extension at $4 million per. But your other two points are absolutely correct.
Rangers counter with Lundkvist for byfield— and before you destroy this offer, it’s still more fair than the one that’s listed here. If LA wants Lundkvist they’ll have to give up Turcotte tho. Both prospects are rated similarly, minor things can be added to either side to even it up.
Nils Lundkvist is a top prospect, he just won best Swedish Born dman in the SHL, so no way we trade him for a player who struggled in the AHL and an LHD who we are already stacked in
