Gotta bring back Tyson they finally have the Elite D so badly needed and people are good with him walking away and handing the reins to a rookie? I mean sure Evan has a ton of potential but hes not Barrie a proven #1 QB. Rackell seemed to be a decent trade option and if your keeping Barrie then Bear has to go. More scoring depth 5 on 5 with Rackell and Coleman along with some size added to lineup. Bring a couple guys on 1yr deals so the young guys can push for a spot in the next couple seasons. I treid to make a deal with Nashville for Forsberg but couldnt come up with the right pieces to fit, Holland stated he’s confident in both of his goalies. Possibly just a smoke screen. Holland Stated there will be a buyout which leads me to believe the best move for this is James. Mikko has one year left and the buyout doesn’t make sense. A trade could be made but where? Cap hit aside Kassian stays because the moment you move that big body your immediately looking for that big body. Would have liked to bring in one more weapon on LW but need money to extend Nurse next season and hopefully by then one if Benson or Holloway makes the team. Also leaving some cap

If you know we need to improve 5on5 you should know Barrie ruins McDavids 5v5 Goal share.

By this set up you have 1RD that can play the PK, the Powerplay was more productive with Nurse & Klefbom last year than Barrie. Give that job to Bouch and if he’s shaky supplement with Nurse.
You’re paying 6.6m for a PP QB that’s a redundancy on the team In a flat cap world. I don’t get it

Show me one contender that’s 1RD makes there top players less effective.

23 Points PP and 25 points 5V5…how exactly does he ruin 5v5. It’s Ok if you want to run him out of town but your asking a rookie to put up unrealistic numbers and then he doesn’t people will call him a bust. I believe Nurse will have supplanted Oscar on the PP1. Oscar can play less with that shoulder if he even returns and for how long.
