NHL released the full schedule for '21-22. Here are the highlights:
-Opening night is Oct. 12, two games: Penguins @ Lightning (Stanley Cup Banner raised), and Kraken @ Golden Knights
-Rest of teams open Oct.13-14
-First of 4 meetings between Canadiens and Maple Leafs: Teams open in Toronto Oct. 13
-Kraken's first home game: Host Canucks on Oct. 23
-Islanders play their first 13 games on the road to allow for the completion of UBS Arena, first home game Nov. 20 against Calgary
-Stanley Cup Rematch-Lightning @ Canadiens, December 7
-Alex Nedeljkovic returns to Carolina: Red Wings @ Hurricanes, Dec. 16
-Mark Giordano Returns to Calgary: Kraken @ Flames, Dec. 23
-Winter Classic: Blues @ Wild at Target Field, January 1, 2022
-All-Star Skills Competition at T-Mobile Arena (Golden Knights' stadium) Feb 4., All-Star Game Feb. 5
Possible break for the Winter Olympics from Feb. 6-22, the league and the NHLPA have not reached an agreement yet
-2nd outdoor game of the year: Lightning @ Predators at Nissan Stadium, Feb. 26
-Duncan Keith returns to Chicago: Oilers @ Blackhawks, March 3
