Gotta say that's so meant to be. Haula and his attitude are meant for BOS.

its funny its as if GM's are expecting the cap to go up next year and so are spending like crazy. But if reports are true cap wont start increasing till either 2023 or 2024

Was honestly expecting another 1-2 year cheap deal offseason not spendapalooza

That Danault signing got me really interested in the Kings organizational setup. With how weak the Pacific is at both the NHL and AHL levels, I would be completely unsurprised to see the Kings make the playoffs in both, with the baby Kings looking at a potential Calder Cup.

NHL:
Iafallo - Kopitar - Brown
Kempe - Daunault - Arvidsson
Athanasiou - Vilardi - Moore
Andersson - JAD - Lemieux
Wagner / Lizotte

Bjornfot - Doughty
Anderson - Roy
Maatta - Walker
Wolanin

Petersen - Quick

AHL:
Tkachev - Byfield - Kaliyev
****emo - Turcotte - Frk
Burke - Thomas - Kupari
Dudas - Sodergran - Madden

Clague - Spence
Moverare - Durzi
Phillips - Strand

Ingham - Villalta

Grundstrom and Grans to the SHL for a year?

Realistically they could bury Maatta and buy on a big-name LHD and a winger at the deadline and legitimately threaten to make the 2nd or 3rd round. If they could land Lindholm in some Wilson-esque "we don't want to trade him in the division" kind of deal and Kessell as a rental, the Kings might be the second-best team in the Pacific.

EDIT: and there goes Edler to the Kings. I'm saying it now they're gonna be a genuine playoff team again here on out. Dammit.

Bruins are absolutely killing free agency. Re-signed Hall, re-signed Mike Reilly, signed Derek Forbort (overpaid, but he's still a solid 3rd pair D), Tomas Nosek, and Erik Haula (absolute steal). Though they haven't finished anything with Rask or Krejci yet.

Lebrun says Edler's deal is 1 year, 3.5 mil, not 2 years for 7 mil as reported by Pagnotta.

And Clarke is in the mix too for future. They're looking scary good. Plus they just signed Edler.

Now that the Flames have traded for Zadorov's rights and signed Coleman we still need to snag a backup. Who's the best available?

Canes pleeeaaase sign Evgeni Svechnikov. We could reunite the brothers and destroy Martinook's vocal cords.

For a backup probably McElhinney or Dubnyk. There's not much meat left on the bone.

Calgary is going to be a playoff team next year, mark my words. Markstrom is going to rebound, and they are stacked offensively.
