Canes projected lines as of right now are:

Svech-Aho-Turbo
Nino-Troch-Necas
Marty-Staal-Fast
Leivo-Lorentz-Jarvis

Slavin-Pesce
Skjei-Bear
Cole-DeAngelo

Andersen
Raanta

Definitely took some steps back. There is still room for improvement.

Dallas's projected lines so far:

JRob-Hintz-Pavs
Benn-Segs-Rads
Kiviranta-Faksa-Gurianov
Comeau-Glendening-Dell

Suter-Heiskanen
Lindell-Klingberg
Harley-Sekera

Oettinger
Holtby

Guessing Dobby is going to get traded, this is meh change from last year.

I think DAL will improve from last year - Cogliano and Oleksiak out for Glendening and Suter is almost a wash, then you lose Dickinson but get to add a healthy Seguin to replace him. Not sure whats going on with your 4 goalies but I maybe you get another piece in return for one of them in a trade

Bish will be on LTIR. But signing Holtby was just stupid.

Can't see Bowness breaking his wet dream pair Comeau-Faksa. Glendening will replace Cogs there.

That means our third line will likely be Kivi-Dellandrea-Gurianov.

I'm scared now that he'll play that stupid Comeau line over Gurianov's line.

Gonna guess Kerfoot goes to LW and Dubas signs a defensive 3c (Ryan or Nash) and we see

Bunting-Matthews-Marner
Kerfoot-Tavares-Nylander
Mikheyev-3c-Kampf
Simmonds-Brooks-Spezza

Rielly-Brodie
Muzzin-Holl
Sandin-Dermott

Could change if Kerfoot is traded

Reportedly there's a second team beyond the Avalanche interested in Kuemper's services, and they're offering more for Darcy than Sakic is.

My guess is Boston or Edmonton. However, I propose: whichever of Boston or Colorado miss out on Kuemper should take Koskinen at 50% from the Oilers in exchange for an AHL piece (RW preferably) and a late pick, a 5th or 6th. Koskinen's numbers are so much better than he's made out to be and at $2.25M represents much more accurate value. He's objectively the best 'backup' available on the market at that price and his deal is only for a year. His only flaw is Edmonton wants more bang for their buck. Quality backup, Edmonton finds their guy, everyone wins.

Then I remember Holland is the GM and he won't actually propose that kind of forward-thinking logic. Dammit.

I'd argue that objectively Driedger or Vanecek is the better goalie on the market after the Grubauer signing. Or Khudobin since DAL stupidly signed Holtby.

Blake Coleman gave a GREAT interview to Duthie on TSN.

Not some brain dead interview - good to see him and his family are happy and PAID.

I don't like Khudobin's term and I feel other GMs will feel the same way despite the gaudy terms handed out today. Have to think the Seattle tandem is Grubauer-Driedger but yeah Vanecek is a really cool guy to have in a system. Could be a future #1 or tandem guy but still raw enough to buy low.
