I think DAL will improve from last year - Cogliano and Oleksiak out for Glendening and Suter is almost a wash, then you lose Dickinson but get to add a healthy Seguin to replace him. Not sure whats going on with your 4 goalies but I maybe you get another piece in return for one of them in a trade

Reportedly there's a second team beyond the Avalanche interested in Kuemper's services, and they're offering more for Darcy than Sakic is.

My guess is Boston or Edmonton. However, I propose: whichever of Boston or Colorado miss out on Kuemper should take Koskinen at 50% from the Oilers in exchange for an AHL piece (RW preferably) and a late pick, a 5th or 6th. Koskinen's numbers are so much better than he's made out to be and at $2.25M represents much more accurate value. He's objectively the best 'backup' available on the market at that price and his deal is only for a year. His only flaw is Edmonton wants more bang for their buck. Quality backup, Edmonton finds their guy, everyone wins.

Then I remember Holland is the GM and he won't actually propose that kind of forward-thinking logic. Dammit.

I'd argue that objectively Driedger or Vanecek is the better goalie on the market after the Grubauer signing. Or Khudobin since DAL stupidly signed Holtby.

I don't like Khudobin's term and I feel other GMs will feel the same way despite the gaudy terms handed out today. Have to think the Seattle tandem is Grubauer-Driedger but yeah Vanecek is a really cool guy to have in a system. Could be a future #1 or tandem guy but still raw enough to buy low.
