Eichel goes to the Kings

Hyman goes in a sign and trade so he at least helps his team out 1 last time (Edmonton, Kings, St Louis)

Dougie goes to Edmonton. If Klefbolm cant play anymore makes to much sense and they got 25mill to spend

Hall signs a 6.5 x 5 year extension with the bruins

Ducks trade a key guy (Fowler, Gibson, Silverberg) and fully commit to the rebuild with emphasis on young talent.

With Eichel going to LA their 1st for this year goes to Buffalo

Seth Jones will end up a flyer and they will make the playoffs

So James Mirtle believes Hyman is gone

No contract progress has been made

but heres the thing Mirtle fails to realize. Sometimes contract talks need just one meeting but sometimes they take a long time. Dubas is probably assessing all his options before resigning Hyman and talks will probs get serious right before or after the Seattle expansion

plus the comparable to past references does not look good



My prediction Dubas does a sign and trade. Hyman does one last favor for the leafs and we get a good return for him

As for Tavares and Hamilton, there is something you are overlooking: term. The reason there was talk of a Tavares sign and trade or, now, a Hamilton sign and trade is because you can only sign for 7 year on the open market but 8 when resigning. Hyman wouldn't sign 8 years.
