I don’t really understand the Cogliano signing. There’s literally NO ROOM on the wing and he’s not a center. So this is a depth signing for a guy I don’t see making the roster. The Sharks aren’t nearly done (3C and G) and I can’t see Cogs signing for over a mil (if he does that’s just wasting money).

At least the Sharks jumped off the Holtby boat (thank god).

And I also bet VAN is gonna throw some guys out the window so they can afford to match the Habs' offer sheet. Which they will.

Montréal has no incentive to make an offer sheet that they know will be matched. And the habs can’t even afford to offer sheet Pettersson anyways after the Armia signing (and likely Savard signing).

Nice second one I got exactly right

Technically I got the Reilly contract right too, just a wrong team, so I'm giving myself half a point on that.

Well now you’re going to be dealing with 1/2 of my pain from last year. This guy is literally Comeau without the size and strength, but he’s fast and has unreal cardio.

Also he sucks ass and I could make him into scrambled eggs.

Well Andersen was undefeated in the postseason this year!

We’ll see where the contract ends up, but I’m guessing his disappointing injury-riddled season ends up lowering the cost.

Andersen to Canes is good depending on AAV, good goalie no matter how much Leafs fan sh*t on him
