A 3rd seems pretty steep. I’m not overly thrilled with that. I’ve always thought Vladar was okay but like he’s only ever been a good AHL goalie. Only 5 NHL games. At least he’s on a league min contract. If he can be a capable backup then it’ll turn out good to bring in a decently young goalie. And Markstrom should get the majority of starts anyway.

The leafs had better get one of them. They currently have added some nice depth, which is fine, but they need a top 6 left wing. I'm disappointed in the lack of moves by the leafs.

If Ritchie slips for a few days he’d be a nice pickup for the Leafs on a sub-2mil type of deal. I think Bunting was one of the best signings today already. And getting a solid tandem guy in Mrazek can’t hurt, Campbell was only a “starter” for half a season

I hope Tatar goes to Seattle, they could use a 2LW and he could use a fresh start

The leafs really had no need for a big name. What they needed was

1. A tandem goalie = Mrazek
2. Guys to replace Hyman = Kamf + Bunting
3. Depth = Everyone else

Now knowing Dubas 7pm is often big at this time of the season so Im just being patient. Got a feeling Tatar is the guy but who knows. He may just go back and get McCann

Well Kerfoot was also rumored to be on the move so 6.1mill if that happens. Just got to wait and see rn

I got Tatar coming on a 1-2 year deal as being scratched in the playoffs and not having the best of seasons probs has hurt his asking price by a lot but who knows

There also is Rielly as if Dubas does not get a deal worked out hes gonna be moved so there are ways to create space if necessary

Dubas isn't exactly the greatest negotiator in the league so I wouldn't be too optimistic. That being said I do see them adding a player. Ritchie is my guess, he is the main power forward on the market right now that can be had with reasonable contract.

My guess Tomas Tatar 2.5m x 1year. Rebound his career score a boatload next to Matthews and Marner then go get more money elsewhere the following year. Not a bad idea if you think about it.
