I hate the Panthers, but Knight looked really sharp in his brief stint last year, and was pretty good in the playoffs as well (1 goal and 3 goals in 2 games, respectively). IMO, he's a Calder contender this year.

Sharks trading for Dvorak would be a dumb idea. It would cost too much and he would be 2/3 C

The thing is for Winnipeg if Hellebuyck gets hurt whose the backup. Rn they got Comrie who is a fringe NHL backup rn. They may go get someone else but as so many playoff teams have demonstrated having a rested starter is beneficial

I like the Houston idea because they want picks and they don’t have any NHL caliber goalies. We could give them Dobby+picks for a top 9 forward, picks will vary depending on the player we get, also if the players contract is too big retention would be needed, pick will vary on that too.
