Interesting Leafs Trade, Leafs lose arguably very little and get a top pairing Dman. The question is; is Bouwmeester a top pairing defenseman and will his quality of play decrease significantly

I wish Blues keep Berglund and dump Lehtera instead.
To piggyback off Leafs fan though, given that Leafs have Reilly and Gardner, I don't think you'd need another left handed defender. As much as i want to get Bouwmeestet off the books, I'd think a right hander would be more suited, especially one who generates offense.

I'd rather dump Lehtera too but he has no worth right now. Bouwmeester does shoot left but he is quite capable playing right defense (as he has in the past). As far as offensive d-men, that's pretty much what Toronto is bringing up right now...they can't all be o-dmen.
