Not sure Philly has really anything of interest in terms of prying Lindholm from us

There's no incentive there for the Jets to trade for a more expensive bad defenseman.

Is that better? I added Morgan Frost. From what I understand Calgary is looking for a shakeup. This trade gives them several young players at both forward and D that are NHL ready and more in line with the age of Tkachuk, who I’m sure the preference is to build around.

Braun was our most steady dman last year. WPG could use a reliable vet Dman with SC playoff experience

Nope. For defensemen the Jets need top 4 guys, nothing else.

Calgary is in a very similar spot to Philly, both teams definitely underperformed this year and neither is planning on rebuilding. Lindholm is the most untouchable player on the team, as I said above I don't think Philly has the pieces to pry him from Calgary. I personally wouldn't even move him in a trade to acquire Eichel. Lindholm is very similar to Couturier in the sense where he is a Selke caliber center on an amazing contract. He just hasn't actually won the award

Lindholm is the teams fourth best forward he is not untouchable

Looking for a shake-up doesn't mean looking to rebuild. The shake-up will likely be one or both of Backlund or Giordano being gone.

Lindholm is the best all-around forward on the team and has the best contract. He's #2 at worst.

They would get back Voracek who would come pretty close to if not completely make up for Lindholms production next year. Gives someone to maximize Gaudreaus production being a pass first guy. Then 2 other young forwards who are NHL caliber players to battle to replace Monahans production after a down year. On top of that you’d get 2 young top 4 caliber dmen, one being right handed to replace giordano of/when he gets traded or retires.
They would just get younger, not signify a rebuild. A rebuild is if you mainly acquire picks and prospects

Do you actually believe this garbage you're regurgitating? You're asking for a teams top 2 centers and offering an aging winger, an injury prone former high pick that wants out, 2 prospects, a 2nd round pick, and a defenseman you are massively overhyping. This is a terrible ****ing offer for Lindholm and Monahan.

    Ask yourself this...

Would you trade a 26 year old Couturier and a 5-year younger Voracek that plays center and making $2m less for what you offered?

Because that's more or less what you are asking for.

He's not the teams best all around forward lol. Both Mang and Tkachuk are better at both ends of the ice easily

Easily. There is no evidence to suggest Lindholm is better than those guys
