Just like the Vegas draft it appears to me that defense is where you make your beans in this draft so that where you load up regardless. U trade the Dman depth you've accumulated here, some very valuable pieces for skill, scoring and picks. Cap room will open with a few D trades as well to perhaps sign a FA. this all changes depending on whos protected and premptive moves teams make, but goibg long D and solid Goalies is how id be focused. Plus balance of grit and character up front.

To be honest with you this is an amazing draft. Has an awesome front line, an amazing defense, and meets the requirements. Ok let thing I see that would probably need to change is the fact that Chris Tanev is probably going to be protected. Really good job would be really happy if this is what they decided to do.

Tanev, yeah thats who computer exposed, and assuming ur right (i think u are) -- flames are still goin have to expose a prime playereither way...either backlund or bennett im presuming could get scooped @FWd OR krack could scoop ur captain GIOrDaNo and then move him at deadline for assets---- BUT definitel;y a few guys on several teams i dont believe will be available- IE Blackwell NYR- just took best available to me under the guidelines and with the idea to gather assets ****MANY DEALS to COME

Yeah not happening either. Take Demelo, have fun.

I personally believe Copp could be the guy being taken from the Jets and who is left exposed to Seattle.
