parise would be a healthy scratch on the isles , plus they can't afford to make this trade anyways,

I would not let Kahkonen go! Also, isn’t Ladd on the LTIR?

I would pay Seattle not to take him honestly. Or a trade to a different team could happen if needed.

it still wouldn't make any sense, rumor is komarov will be bought out this summer and is going back to the KHL. Like I said there's no spot for him in the lineup anyways so he wouldn't waive his NMC in the first place.

I doubt that. He is still a serviceable NHL player (not on the top line, but still solid)

Idk why he would want to go to the KHL

Mikheyev is such a great 3rd liner for the Leafs, he's fast and he can put up points when it matters

Do you even know who Nico Sturm is?

Mikheyev is fast, but has absolutely no finishing ability, he is an offensive black hole and doesnt provide much defensively

Where is he playing?

Lee-Barzal-Wahlstrom
Beau-Nelson-Eberle
Bailey-Pageau-Golyshev

That's the top 9 for next season - so I'm not sure what the incentive for the isles Is to make this trade. Komarov has already agreed to return to the KHL if the isles buy him out.

I'd much rather keep Sturm than trade him for Mikheyev. Sturm is shaping up to be one of the better 3/4Cs in the league. He's dirt cheap, extremely fast and can score goals.

Sturm is also really fast, he can actually finish, he plays great defense and doesnt become a black hole when the puck is on his stick in the o-zone
