Benn is just to old to be the big piece in an eichel trade.

Benn has a NMC, no way in hell he'd waive to Buffalo. I would accept this 1000%, but I'm not sure if Dallas would. Nill is brainwashed with leadership, grit and that kind of stuff, but Benn has a bad contract, and Eichel is a young elite centre who's very very good. It's an obvious choice to make, but Nill has the IQ of a fridge.

No, reinhart isn't worth that. Wild aren't trading/ giving up a 2022 1st round pick, or 2023 1st in much better draft.

Nill hired Ruff. Injuries and a bad year killed that. Then we got Hitch, which was a TG call. We went all skill in the most recent draft, so you’re pretty far off on this one

I don't know why you tried to convolute the Dumba deal with picks. The Wild aren't adding a 1st to Dumba to get Reinhart and a 2nd. This is a 50-60 point winger here, let's try to keep it realistic.

I mean playing Blake Comeau playing 16 minutes a night and Nill hiring, resigning and keeping Bones is kind of grit first moves. Also when was the last time Nill made a big move? Never mind that when was the last time he traded out captain? Nill isn’t an on point guy and you should know that.

Nill isn’t my favorite GM, but I’d take him over most of the GMs in the league

I’m just saying he could do a better job. A way more active job.

Would you prefer Benning who never met an overrated UFA he couldn’t over pay? He’s “active”

Active in a sense of fixing problems when they need fixing, not in the sense of making moves.

The team went to the cup finals... flat cap etc nobody was taking Cogs or Comeau. What were you wanting him to do? Could you imagine if he traded Miro for Karlsson?? What if a big move this past offseason would have costed us JRob? Before he broke out meaning he would have only been valued as a B level prospect in the trade... I’m not 100% defending the guy, just saying it isn’t his fault half of our forwards were hurt this past year. He went after Karlsson and Tavares. Those aren’t small moves. He made the right decision on Karlsson. Tavares picked wearing his TML pajamas every night over lower taxes. Out of Nill’s control

When I meant moves I meant small moves to improve our current problems not implode the whole core.

Nill knew Segs was going to be out for the majority of the season, yet in FA he did nothing. After that Bones was playing weird ass lines that were losing us many games, still did nothing, Gurianov was being used with Lindell and Kero on the PP, mind you he has the hardest recorded shot ever, he also had the same amount of ice time as Blake Comeau, still nothing changed. We lost 14 FREAKING overtimes, I mean there's certainty a way to fix that, but no nothing happened. 2 days after the TDL Bishop and Rads announced that they were out for the rest of the season, Nill called them his TDL adds yet they didn't play a game past the deadline (if you say that he didn't know then why do most things take a while before being announced, he should've known ahead of time). After that Comeau gave some games away, no benching only increase in ice-time. I mean the majority of this is Bones's fault, but it's Nill who overrules him.

Simple solution would be to:
1. go get a good FA on a one year deal to replace Seguin (do what Tampa did with the cap)
2. change the lines if they really aren't clicking
3. stop overplaying the players who make you lose, play some who're putting the effort and skill to help
4. play Dellandrea who was great in his little stint in the NHL over grit grinders like Kero and Gardner
5. resolve problems that need resolving, doesn't need to be in a big way, but at least try something to help

I might be overreacting, but there's somethings that needed to be said.

PS: that's all about I can say it's about 1AM in the morning.

I don’t disagree with most of this. But I can see the thought process behind decisions made. Not what I would have done but that doesn’t mean it’s wrong. Hell I thought Hintz was just an average 2C last year. In my defense his lack of play driving and assists were concerning. Need Guri to take the same step this coming year

The reason why Hintz improved is because of the opportunities given to him (other stuff also helped tremendously). Gurianov hasn’t been given opportunities. My guy was on a PP with Lindell and Kero, he also had Kero with him all year long on his line (line-mates consisted of Kero, Dickinson, Benn (the good one), Kiviranta and Hintz (for like 3 minutes), and his terrible PP unit). He should really improve his game, but to do that you need to get opportunities to learn and try new things. Those weren’t there for him.
