I could absolutely be on drugs with this one, but here's the rationale:

- Tampa doesn't want to lose Cernak for nothing, gets a RD in Thomson that doesn't need protection
- Tampa gets 10th overall in the draft to keep prospect pool alive.
- Tampa gets L.Brown as a project for Syracuse, or Seattle expansion.
- Ottawa gets their talented RD, easily slots on the top pairing with Chabot.
- Ottawa gets some depth picks in a draft they can better scout.

Rationale makes sense but it’s such an overpayment, Cernak is good but your talking about 3 first round picks for one guy

Tampa's problem will be that there cap situation is so bad they are not going to get value for their players Cernak would look good in Ottawa but I would offer only Thomson and Logan Brown

I really like cernak alot, on a slightly lesser team then Tampa he's easily a top 3 , he is getting better every year and doesn't get enough credit because of the names he plays behind.
Tampa will definitely have to move him for something that won't show his actual worth. Because of that this trade is an overpayment.

Youre definitely on drugs.

Cernak is good, but he isnt worth 3 firsts chosen 10-21

I wouldnt give 10OA for him alone.

This is cute - I didn't realize Cernak was so good that the sens had to blow their load on him with a deal like this. Brutal offer, sens say no.
