Not enough for Eichel, especially if we are taking Quick’s cap hit back from them

Idk we’d have to ADD to Sam to get 2OA?
Seems like a pretty even swap to me

Yeah that’s a tough one. Byfield hasn’t proven anything yet, but he’s gonna be good. I have them throwing in the 8th overall as well. That’s going to be a solid player. If we’re moving all these guys out we have the money to take on Quick, even throw him down to Roch if we wanna move UPL up later in the year. And yeah with Sam...I was debating on making it our 2nd which is essentially a late first because ARZ doesn’t pick this year. I doubt SEA moves their first ever pick. But I don’t think the value is far off. Reinhart was a 2nd himself and is from out west...he’d be a good guy for them to rally around.

Quick seems likely to come back to us in an Eichel trade to LA
Maybe Maata too?
But they gotta send us AT LEAST 1 or 2 more quality pieces imo
Byfield is a heck of a talent, but he’s far from a proven superstar like Eichel

I’d love more too...but with the neck concerns and all, getting Byfield and the 8th overall, which could see someone like a Guenther or Eklund fall...I’d take that at this point. When I look around the league, there’s not a lot of teams that can actually pull off a trade for Eichel, have the real desire/need (not a lateral type move, ie-Aho, Barzal, etc) and have pieces that make it worth it on our end. If there’s less demand...value drops. I’m also fine to just tell him to suck it up...we aren’t moving you...and call his bluff lol. What’s he gonna do? Not play in the midst of his prime? Don’t think so.

Please don’t waste Wright’s career. He’s gonna be so good and Buffalo would just waste his talent like every other play who goes there.
