Team is top 15 but thats it, only way they get to the cup is if demko plays like 14-15 price. You don't have your first in 2021 so you can't select johnson. Columbus could probably get more somewhere else. That boeser trade is a highway roberry for minnie.

You can't just put all your bad contracts on LTIR.

That case you make a trade with Seattle, they can offer to take Vancouvers bad contract in exchange for our 2nd round pick in the coming draft and a 4th round pick also.

Kent Johnson is at least a year away from the show from the reports out there, not to mention he's 6'1 and only 165 lbs or so. Looks like only maybe Berniers is ready for next year from this draft class.

I'm as hyped for Podz as the next guy, but we'd be very, VERY fortunate if he could be effective on the first line, let alone be an above average first line contributor.

For Seattle to take all our bad contracts they'd end up with either our first or second for the next 4 years. I'm only SLIGHTLY exagerating

The Boesor trade looks good you basically get Jones and Hartman for Boesor, a player that would rather play jn Minnesota. Realistically, that Boesor trade would include more draft picks that Minnesota would have to give up. As for Jones. He is a rental. We could likely get him for even less if we waited until the deadline.

Seattle is not going to have any $10 million dollar players signed next year. They’ll have tons of cap space. Seattle would be foolish to decline. Considering how the contract are only 1 year.

Podkolzin being just 20 and not really able to do too much in the KHL (granted on a deep team) suggests he'll probably be a solid NHLer at best and kind of like the Puljujarvi to their McDraisaitl relatively... tempered expectations always ideal for non elite prospects

Every team in the league is cap strapped due to flat cap right now. Carolina got Toronto's first round pick for taking 1 year of Patrick Marleau off their hands (in like 2018?), so Eriksson would likely cost something in that ball park, at least. Seattle are about to make out like bandits taking a few bad contracts from the highest bidders. VAN is better off waiting until 2022 for most of the contracts to leave the books for "free", and competing hard in that season.

Well, he did lead SKA in scoring in the playoffs while playing 3rd/4th line minutes, but I would agree that 1st line minutes at this stage in his career is too much of a reach.

Umm no from Minnesota.
1) Ryan Hartman just signed a team friendly 3 years extension. He's not going anywhere like @ all because of his extension, & is beloved by wild's fans, teammates, & front office

2) Do I want Boeser? Yes but no chance like zero are wild going to trade a 1st round pick, much less 1st round pick in 22 stud draft class; much less any pick for a winger
3) Cap exist for a reason. Wild don't have the cap, & aren't going to do this deal

im one of the biggest barclay goodrow fans, but siging another bottom six forward to a four year contract worth 3 mil per is exactly what you DONT want to do. He plays his role very well but you can find undervalued players; for example (zach aston reese) on very good contracts to fill out the bottom six.

Even if its looks good, wild wouldn't/ won't do so. They aren't trading Ryan Hartman,,a player who just signed a team friendly 3 years extension

Also, wild have zero room in cap, & wild's priority is to resign kaprizov, fiala, Joel Eriksson Ek, Nico sturm, x& Kaapo kahkonen

If Jarmo Kekalainen made that deal, he would be immediately cleaning out his desk. Even without a deal in place, Jones will likely return much more than that deal.
