Can’t believe I’m doing this, I love Connor but you need to give to get. Would Isles fans be ok with the value?
Losing Connor means we need to fill the void and use Copp/1st for Reinhart, the 3rd I tossed in just for balance, not sure what/if anything is needed. Just wanted to know the values.

If Copp resigns longer term, Sabres should do it. Big IF though. Sabres probably don't take the chance.

I don’t think he’s really that far off. What about Heinola/+ ? He would pair well with Dobson and has top line upside.

It’s defense 1st with Lou/trotz , pelech-pulock was the best d pairing in the league this season so they probably consider pulock untouchable

Me personally I would want ehlers straight up or demelo, perfetti and a 1st.

Perfetti is tough as we are thin on high end talent for forwards prospect wise.

Yeah but if the isles are trading a top 20 D that’s who I would want. Connor is very good but he’s not elite, worst defensive forward in the league and benefits from playing with elite playmakers like wheeler, scheifele, and ehlers. Look what happened when Laine left WPG

I definitely think there is more than meets the eye in regards to Laine, but I totally get wanting Perfetti, I think a lot of GMs will be kicking themselves for passing on him.
Connor may be brutal on defence, I definitely can’t deny that, but he is a perennial 40 goal scorer, those don’t come around very often.

Yeah I would have taken perfetti ahead of Quinn , holtz, and Sanderson. Drysdale is debatable

Laine in Columbus is what Connor on the islanders would look like. Trotz wouldn’t play him with barzal.

Pelech is slightly better. Pulock is still elite - last season he finished top 5 in WAR and top 10 in overall offensive impact

There were better pairings than Pulock and Pelech, but it is an elite pairing, yes.... it's top 10 in most stats.
