If he puts 45+ assists while generating full of scoring chances with his skating and skills, i dont mind the 10 goals

He has never in his career been on pace for 40 assists let alone 45+ and his average is under 35.

He's regressed in all offensive categories, was benched and does not generate scoring chances like someone with his talent should. His work ethic has been questioned consistently and his trade value is consistent with that. 10g 35a minus player with work ethic issues who is 2 million overpaid.

He fits with Columbus' theme of take misfits and make them worse somehow but they're not gonna get fleeced again by Montreal.
