Players who get nominated for a "best player at their position" award shouldn't accept below league average $ but- granted there is precedent with lehner

3rd in Vezina voting then a 5x5 a year later

But maybe lehner accepted less to sign with an elite team and so -yeah- BUF would have to pay Grubs like probably 8M$ to entice him there ultimately

He knows how sheltered he was (is) in colorado

Playing behind the rebuilding Sabres inversely 😬

You're gonna pay Burakovsky $6 million and Casey Cizikas $1.5 .... you're way out of wack . Especially on the Burakovsky contract . And Shane Wright isn't in this draft

Change the 2nd to a 3rd and you might get Winnipeg's attention.

If Burakovsky wants more he can have more. We have the cap to do it anyways. As for Wright, I'm aware that's why the year is 2022-23

Lol oh no giving a superb scorer in his prime a bunch of money and a good checking player leaving his prime significantly less oh no 🙄

This implies Wright was drafted in '22

🧐

As should be
