Murph is highly rated and likely to get an extension though if we were to move him, it would start with a 1st.

We don't want brown, we'll take him for the roster spot if you need it but we don't want him. Hawks would want a 1st. If its 10th this year we'll send something back, if it's your pick next year we might want a sweetener

That's pretty rich i'll be honest. I think if we got 10th OA this year for him that's awesome for the hawks. Not sure how sens fan feel about it. We could eigther draft 10 and 11 or maybe package them for a top 5 pick to get out future #1 LD

yeah thats kind of what i was thinking, just had to send him back for a roster spot. Id probably go 10th OA + prospect if there was some value coming back whether through a pick/prospect of some kind and there was an extension worked out

Yeah maybe just Bernard-Docker would do the trick. At least that way we replace a RD with another younger which fits the rebuild timeline with the draft picks.

if you wanted JBD idk if id add the 2021 first, id do like lassi thomson and find a way to include the 2021 first but for JBD id probably look to supplement the value another way

OTT is not going to trade 10th OA and a top prospect or 2 for 28 YO RD that has 1 year left.....

Yeah, I mean, since it would be an early first you might not need to add much more than a 1st. I'm inclined to say I want Pinto (obviously not 1st + Pinto) but we all know thats not happening. I love that kid.

idc if he comes at 8 years extension, he is not worth 10th OA and 2 of OTT top prospects. holy crap how about we give a shot to JBD and Thompson before we go giving away good assets for soon to be pylons.

yeah i wouldnt do it for that either lol, id probably go 10th OA + middling prospect tops tbh, if the team wants to take a step next year i don't see why adding an actual good partner for Chabot is a bad idea. Again i was just seeing what hawks fans think before i traded for him a bunch in future acgms

Unless someone fell to 10 we want that wasn't expected I just don't see the 10 OA as something we would let Murph go for. It may be unpopular amongst my peers but I would like us to keep Murphy long term and not give up much more than this for a trade.

Be interesting to get your thoughts if Nylander was changed to Kurashev if your response would be the same?

if sens get a RD is on a 1 year term incase they feel JBD is not ready, Zub and Zeitsev not going anywhere for a while. idc how good murphy may seem defensively he is not worth 10th OA and top prospects especially not at 28 YO.

honestly itd probably depend on who was available at 10th OA for me to want to trade the pick, if any of mactavish, Berniers, lysell, wallstedt, or clarke were there at 10 i think id just make the pick and fill the long-term hole compared to the short-term one. But if we were packaging JBD +2021 1st id probably be looking a bit bigger than murphy even though I do think hes a very good player

like I said, If he came extended, the absolute most i would give up is 10th OA and a prospect like abravov/geunette value level. I dont think hes worth 10thOA (esepcailly if mactavish, Berniers, lysell, wallstedt, or clarke are there) + good prospect either. I was just seeing how hawks fans valued him to see if he would even be a somewhat feasible option

at most id give is tampa 2022 2nd or a 3rd rounder.
