Possibly, although he's played well in the playoffs, Ottawa could do worse and have infinite cap space (but a small budget). Habs should keep him since this team has the cap space for him (and not sign Hinostroza).

only clearing byron and going with a cheaper contract because Suzuki, evans and Romanov are up at the same time so rather have cap for them ( last 2 wont cost as much as suzuki) but i wouldn't mind just having poehling up either.

for OTT it is no longer about cap space, its about roster spot, they need to keep some open for their NHL ready prospects to make the jump
