Sure, I could imagine it for one year, but what happens when Suzuki's ELC expires? Romanov will get a good chunk of Chiarot's money, which is OK because Guhle should be ready.

That said, given how excited Habs fans were to have Kovalchuk, imagine what OV would generate. It would be a very fun season.

If that were the case, one would assume that there would have been a lineup of teams looking to claim him when he was waived this season...but there was nobody there (Either time since he was actually waived twice!).

Assuming Drouin explains his departure sufficiently well, the Flyers would be a perfect team to take a chance on him. I suspect the asking price would be pretty low (Habs hands are tied) and I think Drouin and Couturier would do magic together.
