Description
Eichel, Reinhart, Risto are gone...Zegras, Tkachuk, Korpisalo are in.

I think this is pretty fair.

Anaheim, we are taking cap back with Henrique and get Zegras, a good goalie prospect in Dostal, and Lundestrom as a B list prospect. You get your first this year since it is high but we get two 1sts in the next two years. You also get to keep Drysdale. If the complaint is you think you're giving up too much remember you're getting Eichel (a top elite C in the league) with term and a great contract. You get a 1st line C for years to come. That's a pretty good foundation to build around. Unfortunately, the Sabres organization is a dumpster fire and we don't know how to do anything right. We are taking prospects that are unproven with raw poetntail we have to groom (and we are not good at that). Hopefully Anaheim will make Jack happy again.

I am already expecting Calgary fans to be mad about the Tkachuk trade but my logic is you earn a 1st line C, a 3rd, and a starting young NHL ready defensemen with control of all contract signings. We take one player with 7 million cap hit that is due a new contract soon.

Seattle takes Okposo in the expansion. Sabres trade miller, 6th and 7th to Seattle for Seattle's 7th for taking Okposo.

All UFA, RFA signings are my take. What I believe their worth is. If you believe they are off then dont worry the sabres still have 20,075,000 left. Can always add a little more here and there.

Ducks won't part with Zegras, Calgary won't give up Tkachuk unless a haul is coming back

If, big if, Anaheim wants to trade for Eichel they have to include an A list prospect. Right now there are two choices, Drysdale or Zegras. The Sabres are going to loose every trade imaginable trading eichel no matter what, but for an elite C, you have to give up an A Prospect. To even start the conversation. I'm asking for an A prospect, B prospect, C prospect and two firsts. I'm taking back a bad player contract with 3 years term as well to help offset costs. Zegras is really good but no one knows how he will be in the future. Eichel is top 5 C in the league now, an MVP candidate the year before, and even hurt this year was playing as one of the best two way defensive C's in the league. I don't think that trade is an issue. Now the Calgary could be stretch and I'll give that might not work.

The Gretsky Haul...On Aug. 9, 1988, the Oilers, just two months removed from lifting the Stanley Cup, sent Gretzky, Marty McSorley and Mike Krushelnyski to the Kings in exchange for Jimmy Carson, Martin Gelinas, Los Angeles’ first-round draft picks in 1989, 1991 and 1993, as well as $15 million in cash. My mock isn't even close to that haul. Carson was 2nd overall 2 years prior. In Carsons first two years in the NHL, he was the most productive, more than almost any player in league history, recording 92 goals and 186 total points at only 19 years old. Gelinas was 18 and the 7th overall pick the year prior. Plus 3 firsts, and 15 million in cash...So I think you're slightly mistaken on that

The Jackets one isn't; from our perspective it's perfectly fine. Can't say the same for the others, tho...

👏👏👏
This is roughly what the Sabres should do
Nice job

With all that extra Cap Space,
I’d like to see us take on some bad contracts to get extra 1sts in the ‘22 & ‘23 drafts

Calgary laughs when you say Tkachuk and Anaheim laughs when you say Zegras. Buffalo isn’t getting either

This is all very lopsided besides for the jackets trade. Which is lopsided in our favor actually. The rest. My god.
You’d be lucky to get half of that from Anaheim and your not anywhere near chuckys value.
