Detroit does not now, nor ever, at any cost, want Dermott, Engvall or Kerfoot. It's one of these 3 in every ACGM and we have zero interest in any of them.

    You wouldn't get a 3rd in 2076 for engvall. He's barely worth a 7th

Wings will need players to hit the cap floor next season, perhaps a 3rd is too much, but just because you as a fan arent interested, doesnt mean the team isnt

We will have no problem hitting the cap floor. We will buy cap dumps for assets and re-sign our own. We also won't be giving up assets. It isn't just a fan approach, Yzerman has already said they're not looking to take on term unless it's a player that could be part of a core. (ie impact players)

yeah looking at the trades from last year a 3rd is certainly too high, he would certainly fetch a 7th though

Either way you won't get anything from wings. This move makes 0 sense for them

Engvall isnt term though, would only be on next years roster, makes sense to me that they would take on a player like him for 1 year to bridge the gap between still rebuilding and bringing up prospects

I thought he had two years left. Regardless, he's barely an NHL player, we have no use for him and definitely aren't giving up assets for him.

Engvall (and the other two) is simply not of any use at all to Detroit.

There will be numerous cap dump trades available that brings both useful players as well as assets to Detroit.

Detroit have zero interest in paying for player we have no use for. This is not something we fans imagine, it's a publicly stated policy from our GM.

DeadWingsv2 is entirely correct when saying that neither Engvall nor Dermott or Kerfoot will be traded for by Detroit. The only exception might be if you were to offer Nylander + Dermott for a 7th round pick. That's how bad it is!

Ya like I think the wings could conceivably take on Engvall but we're not getting anything for him
