Brock McGinn would be a solid pickup for Boston

What an overpay for Provorov and ideally, the Bruins have a good 4th line+3rd pair next year unlike this season.

Philly declines. Remember quality over quantity. Philly isn't rebuilding anytimen soon so none of these pieces help the team.

We are f**ked if Coyle is our 2C. I’d rather have Krejci back.

Philly is a competitive team so picks and prospects don't interest them. Also Friedman just talked about what players are for sure untouchable and Provorov is pretty much untouchable. Even if they did want to trade him it wouldn't be for that package.

He said only Farabee is untouchable everyone else is fair game.

Farabee and Hart. Just because Friedman said that they are testing the market for the other players doesn't mean they are going to be trading them. Trading Provorov makes absolutely no sense at this point when we have a competitive team that can go into the playoffs and have a good run if some chances are made. Most likely players like Konecny, JVR, and Ghost are being tested on the market because the team is looking to make possibly big chances for next year. Tell me one good reason why Philly would be looking to trade Provorov with this roster that we have.

Why would the Flyers trade their top D man for futures and depth?
