Ottawa declines. Even if you offered Byron for FREE we'd decline. Even if YOU added a 2nd round pick we'd decline.
He cleared waivers THREE TIMES this season: February, March AND April. What it would cost you to unload Byron is not worth it - just keep him.

Both Ottawa and Seattle decline. Just better ways to spend their cap.....as you know

Why would Seattle decline a top 6 winger for free? It's not like he was signed 5 more years, Allen's good but there are lots of potential target for them at this position around the league.

Well if Drouin really is a top 6 winger, and good value, why is he left exposed? Just my opinion, that Drouin isn't worth his 5.5m Seattle can spend their cap better. With so many teams cap strapped, Seattle will have lots of opportunities to acquire better value in the draft or as UFAs.

i disagree, Drouin is the perfect type pf player Seattle should go after, he only has 2 year left so it will not hurt them if he realyy is finished as a NHL player.
