Description

The purpose of this discussion is to see if Chicago wants to get aggressive in their rebuild. Kane is great, but deserves a chance right now again.
Chicago uses these picks to move up in the draft is the sole purpose of this. This will allow then to draft there #1 Goalie and maybe someone else.

Might thoughts are Chicago drafts both Jesper Wallstedt and Brandt Clark. They don't have that number 1 defenseman yet.

What are your thoughts y'all? Would Kane waive? Would CBJ Accept? Would ANH accept?

Kane can still come back for the final year or two before he retires. Right when the prospects are starting to get good. He can win another cup with Chicago before hand.

I dont see the Ducks trading down, They badly need quality over quantity with where they are in the rebuild right now

CBJ is awful and regressing and they’re going to lose Jones. They can’t hold onto any talent. These players consistently want out. There’s no way Kane waives to go to CBJ and also there’s no way that CBJ gets Kane and suddenly is good. I doubt CBJ wants to give up 3 firsts. This is their future.

Our pick is third overall, not fifth, and the pick necessary to move from 11 to 3 would be number 7, not something in the 30's, which is what Tampa's will be except in the unlikely event that Montreal beats Las Vegas and the Islanders beat Tampa.
