This is a worse team, and you did an awful job with the lines

If you want to move Morgan Reilly you need to find a team that needs defense and has cap space. Vegas isn't giving up cost effective players for ANOTHER elite defenseman.

Why? This actually looks really good. Weenberg has had a lot of success playing with Nylander international stage. Better than most I’ve seen

How is this worse? Better balance throughout the lineup. No crazy unrealistic trades.

Good chance Martinez leaves, I have heard Vegas and Rielly rumours before. The fit is there cap wise. And Glass has not lived up to his expectations

As someone who follows both teams I have never heard Morgan Reilly rumours. Even if Martinez leaves, how is Morgan Reilly a fit for Vegas? They have Theodore and Peitrangelo. Vegas has plenty of pieces including McNabb to create a good D core and use that 4-6M they gained to improve their forward depth. Vegas skated 18 players more then once this year to stay under the cap. Another 5+M offensive defenseman makes no sense.

I don’t see VGS just going with:
    Theodore Petro
    McNabb Whitcloud
    Hague Holden
    Coghlan

I can definitely see them adding another D. Just an idea

That wouldn't be how they run their lines though. This is how the Vegas D core is built.

    McNabb Petro
    Holden Theodore
    Hague Whitecloud
    Coghlan

They also have quite a few NHL ready players in their pipeline. You aren't wrong about them adding another D as a potential but it would be a shutdown/defensive minded player like Martinez not Reilly. If they want to Keep Theodore on the left they also can do this.

    McNabb Petro
    Theodore Whitecloud
    Hague Holden
    Coghlan

Vegas D depth is really good as is while their forward depth could be better.

I’ve never heard this rumor lol. Glass sure hasn’t, but Vegas isn’t going to give up Logan Thompson. That’s the real problem with this trade

I get that, he was a great FA signing.

While Kelly McCrimmon is still the GM, it would take a massive overpay

Winnipeg needs top 4D, so would have no interest in Holl.

The main issue is he was a Brandon Wheat King as well as really good. McCrimmon loves to collect Wheat King players

Ya, Lynden McCallum is probably high on his list this year.
