It's going to take quite a bit more on the futures part to get Eichel. They're going to want Zegras as well or maybe Drysdale.

I kinda hate this trade for Buffalo but it’s not bad. Powers/ Beniers plus Eklund or Clarke (best 2nd pick for BUF imo).

It’d definitely be really interesting seeing a Powers - Clarke duo.

They could instantly gain a lethal Powers - Clarke pairing or Beniers to “replace” Eichel and grab a 3rd C (cozens, Beniers comes to the show in a year, and Eklund) or grab Clarke to hopefully be better than Dahlin.

Henrique doesn’t bring much value but Comtois is a good piece. Ana def needs to send more but it’s not that far off.

Henrique is still pretty good offensively and he looks like he’s a really good leader. He could be the first line center. Mittlestadt and Cozens aren’t ready for it yet.

The value isn't too far off but Anahiem has to add. Maybe switch the 2nd to a top 10 protected 2022 first

No I’m not trashing Henrique. He’s definitely a good piece for the trade but he doesn’t bring much value in terms of asset management for Eichel. Comtois and the 3rd OA pick are obviously the centrepiece but they need more meat added with Henrique to make it an acceptable loss of Eichel.

Thank God everybody thinks Anaheim should add to this offer. That removes any chance we would actually consider it.

Trading for Eichel at any time prior to the halfway point of next season, i.e., before he's proven that he's completed the medical treatment that he hasn't even begun yet and made a full recovery from his season-ending injury, would be the height of idiocy and GM malpractice.

Henrique has a no trade clause and if Buffalo is on his list m, the deal gets nixed. Also does Anaheim want to even go this route when they are far out from being a contender? While he would be a successor to Ryan Getzlaf, he wouldn’t be a leader what so ever, and is frustrated losing here. Imaging going to Anaheim to go to another rebuild.

And if Eichel does end up on long term ir and the risk fails for Anaheim, the Ducks are not a team that likes to blow money, they are an internal cap team
